Getting together with Rick and Seamie was particularly pleasing , given our strong Sligo connections. When I was a boy my father and I used to visit Seamie’s fiddle playing parents, Joe and Sheila. Many years later I met Rick who had recently moved to Sligo from California with his “Pumpkinhead” bandmates. Rick had also became very friendly with the O’Dowds and, of course, it wasn’t long before the young Seamie was thrilling us all with his music. Enjoy watching our evening together as we touch on several different styles of music and song. Thanks for tuning in.
